Why Lussa Exists

If you’ve ever bought a “silk” bonnet for €5, you bought polyester. The label said silk because the seller knew you wanted silk — not because the product was silk. The hair-care industry has been treating “silk” as a marketing word for years.

The truth is simple: real mulberry silk costs more than polyester. It feels different on your hair. It performs differently when you sleep on it. It’s the reason your grandmother’s silk scarves lasted decades while last year’s “silk” bonnet pilled in a month.
